Naming Schemes

Breeders tend to stick to themes for the names of their kittens. Here are a few of the breeders and their general themes.

Tsar Blu is known for using a Z or a T at the beginning of the name. Tsarlight Express, Tsardust Melody, Zelebrity, Zinatra, Znowman. In the oldest cats this theme had not been established yet so you get Gingerella, Cyann or Fitzwilliam.

Heartbeeps used a sailor/pirate theme with their most iconic cats. Panama Jack, Pegleg Pete, Shiver Me Timbers, JacqueCousteau were a few. There was also an alcohol theme with Hot Toddy, Malibu, Cristalle, Jose Cuervo, Margarita & Pina Colada.

Wynterwynd while always naming cats differently has a slight theme of music and water. Soundofmusic, Watermarque, Seasong, Clair De Lune or Moon River. The theme appears to be made up of the sire and dams name or theme.

Roxanastasia uses Russian people as names (sometimes dancers/ballerinas/gymnasts). Aleksander Balandin, Bela Karolyi, Boris Yeltsen, Oksana Gritschok, Evgeni Plushenko.

Velva seems to be decided randomly, after events or sometimes based off the sire or dams name. Hallelujah Baby was named because he came out very pale (so they said Hallelujah baby, we got a pale one - or something along those lines).

Tylona uses sire or dam based names. Angels, music, jewels, blue also appear to be themes.

Platina Luna uses stars or space and movies or tv. Time Bandit, Blade Runner, Southern Cross, Polaris, Lone Star, Regulus and many more.

Pavlova tends to use musicians, Steve Ray Vaughn, BB King, Dizzy Gillespie, Stevie Wonder or Sargent Pepper.

Czarcats likes to use aim. Aim High, Aim to Please, Dare to Aim, Ready Take Aim. There is also a money theme with, Limited Assets, Send Money Honey, Hidden Assets.

Samovar has a money theme with Money2burn, Dimestodollars, Cash, Nickleanddime, Moneycantbuyyoulove, Moneymaker.

Sereshka uses S names like Shazam, Salarika, Sacre Bleu, Sparkle Plenty, but they also name randomly based off of sire or dam naming themes as well as sci fi themes.
